Life in the goldfish tank has been so sweet lately. Cocoa, my little rescued Black Moor, has been spending lots of time side by side with Topaz, my bright orange Fantail. They’re almost inseparable — swimming together, exploring, and even pausing in the same corners like true best friends.

What makes it even more special is Cocoa’s story. If you recall from a previous post, his fins were looking rough and torn, but now he’s healing beautifully. You can actually see the delicate new fin growth coming in — such a hopeful sign of his strength and resilience. Watching him swim confidently again right next to Topaz feels like a small victory worth celebrating.

Goldfish really do have their own personalities and bonds, and these two prove it every day. It’s such a joy to capture moments like these, and I can’t wait to share a couple of my favorite photos of Cocoa and Topaz together.

Here’s to healing, friendship, and the simple happiness that comes from caring for these beautiful little souls. šŸ’›
