“The Truth About Betta Fish Care (What Most People Get Wrong)

If you’ve ever been told a betta fish can live in a bowl… you’ve been misled.

I see this all the time — small tanks, no heater, no filter — and then people wonder why their betta isn’t doing well.

The truth is, bettas aren’t hard to care for… they’re just often set up wrong from the start.

A proper setup includes:

  • At least a 5 gallon tank

  • A heater

  • A filter

  • Stable, clean water

I put together a quick video explaining what actually works and what I look for when improving a betta tank.

If you need help setting up or fixing your tank, I’m always happy to help 😊
